That would be a nice route for a black godhead for the trunk lid.
That along with a black badgeless billet grill from the other place would kick some booty!
YEAH BABY!

BigMerc: I sent them a e-mail 5:55 EST 1/5/03. Will start a new thread when I have more info. Thanks Directedby for the link. Logan will also keep you in the loop in case they want to be a vendor due to demand.

Hey guys, I'm willing to put up some of the start up money for this.
Might we want to come up with a design for both the front and the rear of the car? Would we want different designs for both the front and rear or the same?
Some might not want to go with a billet grille and keep the badge.
Something to consider as well, if we grind the "waterfalls" out of the badge up front, would we want to make the front emblem big enough so that one wouldn't see the grind marks, or would we want to remove the factory one and create something different that fits in place.

Chris:
I would also be very interested in a set of custom badges...something that NO ONE else, other than members of MM.net, have...that way we can recognise each other on the street, sort of like a secret handshake!
Seriously, it would be nice to have something distinctive like that instead of the same badge that's on every Sable lurking around looking for a race...

Just for a thought:
Would it make some sense that any badges be predominately black, with very little chrome to them??
As our front badges are chrome/silver, might it look better with it being black, the letters in chrome/silver, and the godshead in silver?
Chris:cool:
If they look good I'd certainly be up for a set for the front and rear.

Here is a sweat shop in China that also makes car emblems.
I don't know how many one would need to order.

Surf around, it is an entertaining website with great pics.
Here is an example of a car emblem.

ooooh... yeah! I would say we would want to replace the front emblem completely with one that is the same size... no use in spending all the $$ on a new emblem just to have to go and grind the factory one down 1st...

Neat. Although if I had the Cobra shown on the website I'd have bloody well left it alone :). Thanks for the research on this!
Slightly off of the thread, has anyone a contact for adding a logo or embroiderd name tags and such to the MM leather jackets?
I can appreciate 'understated' - but the jacket, IMHO, should maybe have had a small logo on the outside along with the "Created for..." on the inside.
On the car badge, I vote for something that not only indicates "Marauder", but has a tie-in with this site, if Logan doesn't mind. Not the web address, of course, just something that would indicate that the MM owner was a member.

Billatpro mentioned in an earlier post that he had a source for custom jacket "mods"...

Im working on an emblem and a supplier right now.
I need some pics of the 2 God head Logo's that were pictured above, only I need them in a large clear high dpi (if possible) version.
Oh and these have to be dead on shots with natural bright lighting.
Ill PS7 a couple together and you can decide from there.
The guy Im grooming for this is making our "Lincoln Star Cobra" emblem that I designed and he does phenominal work without the 1000 piece minimums and huge set-up fees.

I just got my card the other day and sent it in, as soon as the jacket gets here it's going down to our vendor so he can get a look at it and evaluate the material to determine he can emboss or not!
Some types of leather don't lend them selves to process and other do, I'll let you all know as soon I get it in my hands, If it is common process that embroidry shop can do I'll let you know and you make a contact in your town. :rasta:

Thanks for the pics Chris. If your using a digicam then please set it macro and the highest file size setting please.
I need a large superclear image to work with.
You can email them to me at Sales@Lincolnmotorsport.com.
Ill at least get a basic layout going with the ones you have supplied.
Thanks again, Geno.
