So as I patiently wait for Ford to get me my control Pak for my Coyote build, Ive been messing around with a pair of coil covers (and a totaled Mach 1 becuase I also have no friends lol).

I was going for a 63/64 valve cover look. Hope yall enjoy!

Please start a thread about the Coyote swap!
Are you going to use the new 10 speed auto?

(If it were relatively easy, I might have kept my Marauder and put a Gen 3 Coyote in it....:()

Sure I can start one,
I’ll wait until I get more of the parts I need before I start it though.

But it’s a second gen coyote and I’m using a NMRA prepped 4r70w. I know not as cool as the 6 speed or the 10 speed but I’m working with what I have.

Thats pretty cool on the air cleaner.

I was thinking of incorperating the Gods Head in the Red section but I didnt for whatever reason. Kind wish I did it now.

Absolutely, forewarning, Im not a mechanic just a body guy!

Im sure middle of summer, begining of fall I will start. Since she runs and drives might aswell driver the Merc in the summer while I work on the Mach.

Ol'Lady said I have too many projects, little does she know lol.

+1!

IMHO: Body and Paint guys are more valuable than mechanics!
I can do 98% of all my wrenching....just wish that I could smooth and paint sheetmetal.

Will it fit?

it has already been done and documented. A thread is here somewhere, by username 94gt I think....

So, it will fit with engine bay modifications.

So, it will fit with engine bay modifications.

I don't think any engine bay mods are necessary because the 5.0 Coyote cam covers are more compact than the 4.6 covers.
Main problem is that the Coyote 'Copperhead' control pack required for the 5.0 engine will not interface with the 4RW70/75 transmission...and I don't think that it will work with the OEM Marauder control system.

Only modification is the engine mounts need to go back 1/4 inch if im not mistaken.

You are correct I need a separate trans controller to control the 4R70w with the 5.0 coyote. But to answer Lowndex yes the coyote will physically fit in the engine bay!
