Just took delivery on a brand new F-150 XLT Sport 5.0


Wondering what type of undercoating or rust proofing ya'll would recommend?

What are your experiences with the different options?

None, the body is all aluminum.

Fluid film seems to be the best option.
Aluminum will oxidize, particularly when exposed to magnesium chloride. And there's still a steel frame under there.

I never believed in undercoating newer vehicles, as the manufacturers usually spray on a coating where needed to meet their 100,000 mile body/frame warranties.

Having said that, the next new pick-up that I buy is going to immediately get a set of these:
