I am guilty of hitting the "new posts" to find out what the newest chatter is on this site.

Why do those "new posts" the ones i view, disappear off the grid once i view the page one time?

Its still a new post, really should stay on the top of "new posts" and not go away.. no way to find the post again until someone posts again... seems stupid.

Once the post is read by you it is no longer a New Post for you.

https://www.gdmjoe.com/icons/lightbulb.gif The previous version had a Today's Posts.

EDIT: Found it! Forum Home » Quick Links » Today's Posts

And for the record ... IIRC, the previous version of Vbulletin here did the same.

You are correct. Seems like a loss.

I don’t have that problem when using What’s New or Activity Stream.

To view again, just go to thread in the forum category and its there.

It always did this on old system too - read thread and it disappeared from New Posts list.
