not surprised with the outcome.
What good is revving beyond 8K if your not making TQ?

WOW!
What a revelation!!

They wasted all that time and money to prove that, with equal blowers*, a 7.0 Liter engine makes more HP than a 5.0 Liter engine.
Let's try the most commonly swapped 5.3L LS and see how things go.

*Actually the 427 LS had a bigger blower.

They tested a 7 Litre LS to a 5 Litre Coyote. How is this a “fair and equal” comparison?

Unfortunately it will go the same. The LS platform is hard to beat for making power

They gave both teams a $15,000 budget. The LS team brought a bazooka to a knife fight. The ford guys brought a butter knife.

They could have easily picked up a 5.8 modular motor, instead they chose a 5L coyote

I'm not so sure about that....5.0 Coyotes love boost and make more stock N/A HP than the 6.2L LS engines.

LOL.....It was some serious dreaming.... thinking that they could give up 2 Liters of displacement with 'equal' blowers and expect to win.
