Oh these cars are tanks, i drove it home after the wreck. Drove right past that tow truck too lol.... After the officer wrote everything down, i asked,,.. "we good"?? And he had no problem for me driving it in that condition. I did remove any parts that would fly off at highway speed. I really want to turn it into a station wagon merc.

Maybe you could buy it back from the insurance company and turn it into a rat rod. I'm pretty sure that they are going to call it a total.

Thanks guys, yes I have seen many totaled out with just this type or less front end damage... it bent the core support..
not to mention the rear frame, rear end damage..
if you look close, the rear shelf where the speakers are., it's bent too.
My daily silver crown vic broke a rear axle 7 days later, now I'm stuck driving a 87 turbo regal until this bad rain crap passes

Good to know after all the work you will be doing to it! I think half of what you feel is shock. As in, you aren’t an absorber...

Was it raining? Hydroplaned???
it had rained the night before, it was dry all the way from my house to downtown. As i went under the bridges, the run off from the bridges, the shade, and greasyness from what ever was above in the road. Caused a huge slick spot on the road, car did a 180° turn and i was driving backwards for a second. Tried hitting the brakes and turning, and noticed i had zero steering. So yes i guess at that moment, i lost steering from hydroplaning.
I really think if traction control was off, i would have not had the sensation of brake right , twitch, brake left twitch, then 180°,.. i have never had a car 180 perfectly like that. Once i was driving backwards for a split second, i made eye contact with the lady i almost side swiped, ...., i slipped the car into neutral thinking i could steer it and just stop. Thats when the left and front struck the barrier, causing the rear end to T BONE the guard rail.
Car was nice, but not anymore. I have agreed value / stated value with Grundy , its been a week and a half........................

Sorry to see the damage to your car. I just hope you are not too banged up! It will be interesting to see a Marauder wagon though so hopefully that will be the good thing to come out of it.

OMG!!! I cannot unsee what has been seen! Those filthy tail pipes! This breaks my heart as Marauder is the same color as mine. I'm new with Hagerty-Collector Car insurance. Waiting to hear how your experience with Grundy goes.

Yes I have agreed value and each year they increase it $500.00,..
Today she said it should never be on the road again, frame is buckled, and just looking at it there is $15,000.00 in damages.
15k is more than what I had it insured for...

I must say as horrible and gut-wrenching as those pictures make all of us Marauder owners feel, the flip-side is that these large land-yachts have the best safety records and I'm really glad you walked away relatively unscathed.
Definitely sorry to see, but I know you'll be able to put her back in the road in the vision as you see fit. Hope all is well
Cheers
