Just when I thought I had seen everything, along came the mini-moto craze. 70MPH on one of these things? SHEESH!

I have seen videos of guys racing these things on the twisties passing cars. It is INSANE, but when you fall it is only 6 inches to the ground!

California, figure's. Hope that death cycle doesn't spread to the rest of the states. Does look like fun tho, and just my size, lol! :rasta:

Hey don't make fun of the granola state...were full of fruits, nuts and flakes! I've seen a few of these things on the road. A fall would totally roast your knees. These things are headed your way...just like other fads that start here...count on it!

I just had a good laugh. I saw the picture before reading anything I was like "We have a ton of these things here in Sac" and then I notice the origin of the story. These things are forsale in old corner lots all around Sacramento. They are LOUD as hell too. Between these and those 2 stroke scooters, it's crazy out here. I've seen 2-3 kids just miss getting plastered by a passenger cars. Most of them just blow the stop signs. The people riding them are I'd say below 16 years old. They also ride them at night with no lights, again blowing the stop signs. Helmets - 50/50 from what I've seen. When I was that age, I had a regular human powered bike. You know, you got a work out riding the thing. I just saw one of the scooters going down the street yesterday with a cup holder on the handle bars holding a big 44oz from Seven-Eleven! Geeze.

Using his scooter powers for good and not for evil is the enduring and admirable SCOOTERMAN (http://www.scooterman.co.uk/).

They are hot on eBaY already. Just use the search words MINI MOTO and you can find all you want. My daughter wants one. It will be riden in the back yard only if I do break down and buy her one.
