You-all are missing some good Drag Racing Stories.

I have always admired your writing, the performance of your car and your professionalism in drag racing. I do OK, but have none of your precision. What I have noticed is that the Marauder crowd no longer goes to the drags. When I go, I spend time talking to the younger guys who are running panther bodies but wish they had a Marauder. My best time is 11.58 at 118, not too far off from your efforts. Tonight I will go with my son to the local track Midnight Madness. My last trip down the 1320 was several months ago, with an 11.98 at 115. It was a hot muggy night. As usual, no other Marauders in sight. I keep thinking I should sell the car and file it under M for memories. But then I remember Marauderville One in Ennis. Tough choice. No one wants an old drag-raced car....
