No surprise here: Venue to become Field Hospital for Corona Virus Patients

In a season when the New York (https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a31359147/new-york-auto-show-moved-coronavirus/) auto show was postponed and the Geneva (https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a31189757/geneva-auto-show-video-walkaround/) auto show was canceled, it's not that surprising that the Detroit auto show, scheduled for June 6–20, is now off because of coronavirus (https://www.caranddriver.com/coronavirus).
In this case, it's because the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) has chosen the show venue as a field hospital for the next six months for emergency patients.
The next Detroit show will be in June 2021, show organizers said.

Not surprising....every show/event scheduled in the next few months is getting cancelled or rescheduled for the Fall.
I went to the Detroit Auto Show last year when it was still held in January.... great show, but it was frickin' freezing cold in Detroit!!
