Thinking the name conjures up the short lived 4.2L Twin Turbo V8 in the equally short lived CT6-V. Now, Cadillac's V series has been rechristened 'Blackwing' with the CT5-V Blackwing getting GM's 6.2L supercharged motor with a 6 speed manual option.

I agree with you. It seems to share the same shape as the 2019 Acura TLX to me. Doesn't "feel" like a Cadillac to me, even a sports sedan one. It's almost like they took the TLX, lowered it and just changed out the bumpers and lights. Perhaps the engine will be the redeeming factor.

To be honest, piles of cars in the sedan and sports sedan sectors from America, Europe and Asia look quite similar. Awaiting a clone built in China. The clone will have a weird takeoff on the Cadillac crest emblem with a home market 4 cylinder motor.
