Just finished glossing up the paint and spritzing the tires while reflecting on the past six months since joining the MM community.

Coming from modest background, my previous cars have been used or high milage demos. Buying the MM (second-hand of course) six months ago was a christmas gift to myself now that I have a little "disposable income" after 9 years in a profession that I earned my degrees for with the GI bill and hard-stretched cash.

I feel that the MM has not only given me joy as a newly converted ethusiast, but has also diverted my attention from the stressors that had me in front of a doctor a year and a half ago. It may sound silly, but for the past six months my MM and this site have been the best stress relievers I've found. People tell me I'm more laid back, a better communicator, and that I've even lost a little weight!

Thank you for allowing me adopt myself into the family... as disfunctional as it may be sometimes. I can't wait to meet many of you at Indy and swim around in a sea of MMs.

Relieving stress comes in many different forms.
