I know Mac, Zack, Lynn,and Big Joe are going who else besides me. ;)

My father passed away :depress: last Friday after being sick for the past 2 months, so my time is alot more open. I plan on going, and trying to drag my brother-in-law with me. After being stressed these past 2 months, I need a break in my life and this might be what the doctor ordered. And I don't mean the doctor stuff literly. I have had enough of as*hole doctors :fire: that don't know their head from a hole in the ground, for a long time. I'll keep you posted Gary. Things look good, and will more than likely be cruzing down 65 early that Thursday morning. :beer:

i'll be driving down sometime on Friday. I will be in New York in the days prior to MV2 and returning on thursday afternoon. Friday is the earliest I can make it. I will stay the duration to drive back with the group on Sunday.

Just made my hotel reservations and paid my entry fee to the event, so I'm offically going!!!!!!!!! Gary let me know if anyone is meeting up somewhere, as we could all cruz 65 together. I plan on leaving some time that Thursday morning.

Mark, Sorry to hear about your father. If I make it (it's a little questionable), I'd be leaving early Friday morning..but maybe we can caravan home since we'd leave on Sunday after breakfast.

I am about 45 min from Lafayette, and plan on hooking up with the Windy City crew on their way down. As plans get fimed up, we can meet them at SR 26 and I-65 for the trip to the hotel. let me know :up:

I'm leaving at 0900 Thursday with several folks from IMOA in their classic Mercs. We rendexvous in Crete, IL and go on from there. I think they'd be happy to meet up with most of you - just let me know. Also - because of the vintage, it might well be a SLOW caravan.

Where in Crete? I live about 10 min. away, and might meet up with that group if nothing happens in Merriville, IN. :rock:

My guess is that we will be breakfasted before we get to the Oasis (but I'll need a Starbucks for the trip), so I would plan accordingly. If I'm wrong, then you and I can drink coffee when others eat.

I used to have a T-Shirt that said that - all too appropriate. :rolleyes:

The IMOA convoy will be leaving from the O'Hare Oasis at 0800 (a change of one half hour later from 0730) on Thursday. We will be meeting the other group from Indiana (led by "Carl") at 0930 on I-65, exit 240 (Lowell or Rte 2) and zipping down to Indy from there. (NB: "Zipping" as fast as 49-51 Mercurys are able to 'zip.') :burnout:

Also: for those of you that want to call me on the cell phone, please be aware you might have to try twice - I have a conference call I got roped into from 0700-0800 and it might take me a minute or two to switch back and forth if you call.

For the 'convoy' (reminds me of C.W. McCall: "Looks like we got us a convoy!" I wonder what happened to him?), if you have them it might be worthwhile bringing your FRS handheld radio to organize the chaos. Channel 1, no codes.
