Looking for a recommended alternative converter. Want 10" 2800-3000 rpm stall. Don't want to spend $1000.00 Although Circle D and and Percission seem to have the best I am not drag racing or trashing just want better performance. What alternative converter companies would anyone recommend ?

If you have time to wait, Precision has sales periodically. I bought one for about $100 off during a sale.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. Aren't they about half the cost?

I'm not sure, I have a Precision that was already bin car, but have seen others have been happy getting one thru Marty.

I am sure Marty would only use the best for the application unless the customer had a request.

I've been running a Precision Industries convertor 12+ years, never had a problem with it.

Is it necessary to get a tune after a new converter ?
