Welcome and Congratulations! There is a ton of info on this forum. Reach out to Marty Ochs at www.mosspeedshop.com (http://www.mosspeedshop.com) at (914) 582-6262 for a tune so you can really enjoy your car! Also, since you're a new owner, check out this great website for a ton of information such as owner's manuals, specs, etc. (Credit goes to Gdmjoe):

I already did contact Marty, My first items on the list are Tune, K&N cold air Intake, Mufflers/exhaust, coolant crossover rear of heads, the usual starter pack. Open to suggestions for maintenance, care, mods. I will be using Mobil one and either factory or Wix oil filters. I also ordered The Marty report and Marauder Certificate

The cooling mod is definitely the important one. Some of the ones that I really like are:

a) Marty Tune;
b) 4.10 Ford Performance Gears;
c) K&N CAI
d) Stainless Works headers;
e) Metco Control Arms and Watts link;
f) Addco front and rear sway bars;
g) TCE Performance Stainless Brake Hose Kit;
h) And of course, Boost!

You may also want to take a look at a set of new Timing Chain Guides / Tensioners when the time comes. This thread will help you:

Many of us do the mods over time, so don't feel you have to do it all at once. Once the mod bug hits, it's hard to stop.
You'll find that Marty, Zack, Jerry and Jim (Fastblackmerc) thoroughly know these cars.

You mentioned that you're in Westchester. If you plan to drive year-round, you will want to wash it often to keep it clean, otherwise the rust will creep up on the fenders and underneath. It can happen in less than two years and it's a never-ending battle.

Thank you, I know about the bug. In the 90's I had a repair shop we mostly did Mustangs and other popular performance cars of that time. I am trying to not go over board and keep reliability (yea I know, we all say not gonna do this or that :) ). After my beginner pack will see how long before I am bored and want more :)
