I was able to get Toyo tires with the correct size for the front and rear. So far so good.

I bought 2 sets of original BFG tires for my Marauder; They went with the car when I sold it to my son.

+1. Been happy with them.

Didn’t know Toyo was on option for stock size.

I got tired of uneven tire wear all around. Air pressure didn't seem to matter. The rears having center wear and not able to rotate shorten millage expectancy. I chose to run same size all around. Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 worked well next time I will try continentals.

I got good tire wear and mileage out of original size Nitto Motivo. Never tried Cooper or General. Goodyear and BFG were terrible.

Depends on what type of tire you are looking for. If you need a normal daily driver type of tire, get these: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=General&tireModel=G-MAX+AS-05&partnum=455WR8GMAS05&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

I bought them because they were cheap so i could have the boost burn them up and not feel guilty. The blasted things have better dry pavement traction than my M/T drag radials did!

500/AA/A, name brand, unbelievable traction and cheap!

ANY tires are better than the BF Goodjunks! My Nitto 420’s have at minimum 7 years on them now and although finally bald AF, they are perfectly wore evenly across. Great traction wet or dry as well.

I've been shopping for tires, too. 6 years ago I installed front BFGoodrich g Force Comp A/S and they've worn well but with only 10K miles on them, I'd hesitate to get on the freeway for a trip. They do not have a comparable rear size and the rear has BFG Radial T/As in OE size. I want something sticky and soft as I only drive occasionally and wind up throwing tires away because of age. It appears Pirelli, Toyo, Continental, General, Cooper, and Falken make OE sizes. I love the Nitto Invo but sizes similar to OE aren't available. I put serious consideration into the Good Year Eagle RS-A.
I'd like a higher performance oriented tire with more stick.

Hi all, I am new to the thread. I have a 2004 Marauder, pretty much stock. From reading this, I can see BF Goodrich were the original brand that came on them...what were the sizes that originally cam eon them? Thanks!

Keep in mind whatever size you go with on a 2004 you need to keep the front/rear stager w/in 3% or the T/C will have a hissy fit.

I've been very happy with my motivos as a set of street all seasons. The compound may be a little soft, but my foot might be a little heavy, so no complaints here.

Thinking about switching it up next time I buy street tires because I never learned "if it aint fixed don't broke it" or whatever it is

Finally replaced the bald Nitto 420S’s with their replacements being the 421Q’s

They seem pretty comparable so far. Pedaling the car they spin just enough to hear the slippage but she pulls HARD.

Bob, put some drag radials on your car already. Then you could actually use some of that power you have :P

I’ve got some old decrepit ones mounted on widened wheels that look as though every time the last owner went to the track he must’ve put his toolbox, jack, and perhaps some bricks as well on top of the rims.. Yes, that bad. But hey, he sold them for like $400 shipped.

I’m just too lazy and cheap to have them redone and I don’t really want DR’s on the regular rims. Someday, I mean they’re a fairly recent purchase like 10 years ago?? No need to rush into things. [emoji16]
