I would like to ask advice from anyone who may know or who already has replaced their fog lamp assembly. My left fog lamp has gone out. I have a couple of new fog lamps and brackets in storage that I am going to put on the car to replace the old ones. Before I crawl underneath the car, how difficult or easy is it to take out the old fog lamp assembly and put in a new one? Is there a specific process to make it go smoothly? Is it just plug-n-play or am I going to be doing some wiring or other electrical work? Thank you in advance.

It's very simple to replace the fog light, if You remove the screws for the bracket that go into the bumper, You may want to consider installing a thicker screw because they go into the soft plastic of the bumper. Sometimes the screws for the bracket can get loose if You take them out and put them back in. If the bracket is ok, then just replace the fog light only. The plastic on the bracket that the fog goes into is much harder than the bumper plastic. Or just put some super glue on the screws to make it safer.

There are 4 screws that secure the fog light assembly to the bracket. Just remove them. No need to remove the bracket. If the fog light is out maybe you only need to replace the bulb.
