6/17/2001 Fathers Day was the day I picked up my Marauder. We had test driven it the week before and I knew more about the car then the sales manager did! My Marauder has a little over 100,000 miles, and I have the upgrade alpine 6 CD disc changer now. Still love driving this car.
Hi Gary and Gail, glad you're still around.
My 19th anniversary was yesterday, 6/26/2002. ready to turn 90k this summer. It got replaced on vacations by a 2018 Edge, but it did make it to Carlisle PA, all Ford Nationals, The Hot Rod Power Tour as a long hauler and the Woodward Dream cruise, all in 2019. Car rarely came out of the garage last summer with Covid shutdowns, and an 04 MM to drive.

I was TOO busy last Tuesday to post...+ just forgot later in the day...
June 22, 2002 is the 19 year for picking up mine. Long story, but dealership was closing/going out of business the SAME wee as the supposed scheduled delivery...and Mercury was refusing to deliver...until I reached out to Elena Ford's office, herself and got mine and @BlackTerror's delivered to the dealership for pick up. He was already there and had already selected his when I got there. The place was a ghost town...it was just us, the internet Sales Manager for the Dealership (I had been on a waitlist for over a year and a half) and a brand new, left over Lincoln Blackwood...that the Internet guy was almost willing to give me, if I'd take it over the MARAUDER...glad I didn't.
Saturday, I was out in it, burnin' the carbon off the plugs...still makes me smile...and stops MANY folks in their tracks "What IS That??!!"
Happy Anniversary @BlackTerror (although I know you've parted ways with yours...)

Thanks, I still miss it but am enjoying the supercharged 2005 Lincoln Town Car with Marty's tune and TCE Brake Lines. May do big brake kit but have to change wheels and tires from 17" first. Glad to hear you still have yours and enjoying it every day. Hope you and family are all doing well. We are still doing the Breakfast, you should come down sometime. Brian Sipes(Ford Nut) has shown up couple if times. Don't know what is happening with Shootout since it moved to Charlotte, NC.
Wow, how time flies, mine too was on 6/26/2021, i.e. 19 years old.
