Finally had a chance to run with the Spec P71 boys, had a lot of fun turning laps at Big Willow. Far and away the fastest track I've been on, hit 100 in 3 places and topped out at 120 at the end of the straight, for a fastest time of 1:47. Slower than the spec class winner, so I've got some more driving to learn. Anyways, enjoy the pictures, and if you're thinking of coming to a track day, just do itttttttt

Noticed that you don't have any of the front lower air deflectors. On purpose -or- oversight?

What wheels are you running? Diameter and width?

And what brake rotors and pads are you running? I run several auto cross events each year and I run the stock size rotors but I run a CarboTech AX-6 pad on all four corners. Do you run an additional transmission cooler?

Myblackbeasts - Yes it was, good thing I had some momentum to make it up haha
GDMjoe - you are correct, I never got around to re-installing them when I rebuilt the front end. I'm currently trying to set up brake ducting from the foglight holes, once I do that I might reinstall them. Havent noticed a problem, but idk
Crouse - These are Mustang 2015 anniversary edition, 19x8.5. I got them after I didn't like the amount of sidewall flex I was getting on the stock 18s, and they did increase the steering precision, but also breakaway is much more sudden than with the extra sidewall. I'll keep running them for the time being, but I'd be interested in throwing the same (model of) race tire on 18s and seeing the difference. Rotors are stoptech slotted up front, stock in the back, Hawk HPS all the way around with preston DOT4 fluid (its what my local parts store had the night I needed it). I've heard good things about the Carbotech, but I've been satisfied enough with the Hawk I haven't switched. I will say the slotted rotors helped so much more with brake fade than I anticipated, at the expense of eating the front pads. I'm currently researching trans cooler options, I hit 285 at this event when it was like 100 degrees out, amazingly everything still works. Drained and filled fluid as soon as I got home. My biggest restriction is that I absolutely need to keep the AC condenser, which limits my options.
Peace2peep - Absolutely is a lot of fun!
