Ugh... David was THE man and seemed to steal the spotlight. I am partial to Sammy because I have seen him solo. Both had their place but personally I say Hagar. But practically, David Lee.

Never saw them but would think old Van Halen music with Sammy's vocals would have been good. Not a big fan of DLR's voice.

Hands down Hagar!

When I was young Roth ruled the airways. I recall hearing Panama playing literally every day at 6th grade lunch.. But the older I got I not only began to enjoy Sammy’s selection more but I truly started to hate David’s cockiness.

I’ve seen Van Halen with Gery and they did lousy. They were lost and had no rhythm.

I’ve also had a chance to see both Dave and Sammy solos at local ribfests and honestly they were both equally AWESOME! It took about three songs each to warm up, get the sound dialed in, and the driven attitude but WOW what a show it was for both of them.

But yeah my go to is Hagar. OUH12 was and still is one of my favorite albums of all time.
