Hey guys,
I've got a problem with the Leather Cover on the driver's seat.
The retainer, under the front of the seat, below my knees, keeps coming loose.
I've been putting it back on and making sure it is clipped in correctly for over 2 weeks now and it still finds its way loose.
Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to correct it ?
It is a biatch to snap back on the frame, but once it is in place,
it is on there strong enought to hold it.
Could it be my Marauder's way of telling me my butt is too big ?

Pete now you know how the women feel. But don't worry, those seats don't make your butt look fat...

Hi Pete,
I noticed my seat cover was off yesterday too. I did a search here using "leather seat clip" and found out it's
not an uncommon malfunction.....There's some helpfull infomation there on how other's have corrected it. My buddy and I muscled it back on yesterday and will see
how long it holds. We are lucky to have this source of inforrmation available to us. Thanks LOGAN!:D

Do a search on seat cover for a thread I started. Someone even posted a diagram of how to reattach. It works very well. Mine has stayed put since then.

Didnt someone put two small screws through the plastic clip into the seat frame? I thought I saw this a long time ago as a permanent fix to this problem.

I pop riveted my retainer to hold it in place.

I used screws, still holding fine.
