Twenty and counting!

Twenty years ago on 5/27/2002 my Marauder was built. I bought it new in July 2002 and it now has 111,777 miles and I enjoyed driving nearly every one of them :)

I found this site shortly afterwards and enjoyed many events with fellow owners. MV2 in Indy was my favorite but MV3 in Detroit was also a blast. Sadly I fell out of touch as my kids took over my life but we all still love the Marauder.

Not sure who is still around but howdy to all of you old timers :)

My Marauder went into service in July of 2002 and I bought it with about 7500 mile in June of 2003. Someone here thought it was a district or regional managers car as they pulled off a string of Marauder from the assembly line and issued them to the managers and mine was in that group. It spent all of it's time near Dallas Texas as it had all of it's service work done at a Ford Lincoln Mercury dealer there. It also had a Michigan title, so I'm thinking that makes sense.

Mine was built 2 days later, on May 29, 2002. Bought it June 6, just a few more days. :)

Mine was built 5/19/02 and it sat on the lot for 8 months before I bought it new with 6 miles on it. Still rocking and rolling at 104,000. Don't tell anyone but whenever I get my car back from using a rental, I still hug the steering wheel.

That's my birthday too! Well, not 2002...unfortunately. Man to be 20 again...

My car's 20th birthday is coming up on 06/21!
