The "pit manuever" does not work real well when you are on 4 to 8 lane wide roadways. If it had been a 2 lane roadway with one lane going in each direction he probably would not have recovered from the spin. In the video the driver had plenty of room to recover. :)

In total agreement with Sheriff as we had two in one week do this to us out on Route 95 Southbound in South Carolina...of course in the sections that were 3 lane each side !

For the guy to shift into reverse and nail it going backwards along the guardrail and then "J" turn across the median onto the secondary road he would have to have a very large brass set - maybe even real big steel ones!
