Has anyone replaced their factory power steering lines and gone to AN fittings and braided power steering hose? I am working on installing a Volvo S40 electric power steering pump in my 70 F100 with a CV front suspension including the rack and pinion and I want to custom build the power steering lines. I have found these and wanted to know if they are correct:

I am not sure what the four nuts are for (maybe the Focus) but the fittings, plate, and hex bolt look correct based on the factory hoses.

I can't answer your question and I'm sure you already know of this conversion, but if you don't here's the link. Just throwing out the option.

I ran across that a few days ago but I already have a new reman Cardone rack and do not want to mess with the electric assist rack as its not cheap. Just a reman electric assist rack is around $900 and then you have to get into the controls on it for variable assist.

I'd contact hyrdatech and ask them. They have been very helpful to me in the past.

Scroll down for adaptors. If you don't know what will fit, they will know.

I went full retard and ordered a set from Massive:

Got them yesterday and they look really good but I will not know if they fit until next weekend. Project truck is 3 hours away as I have zero room for it at my house.

Here you go:

Not cheap and its the same problem as the Volvo electric pump in that they throw 12V+ run hot to it to get it to work. Being there is no CAN bus signal my guess is it goes into limp mode just like the Volvo pump does. Cortex has this unit for $400 (out of stock) but again this one just turns it on and no speed input so its the same boost at all speeds.
