Widened Rims for 295/305 Tires

I see a lot of Members running widened aluminum rims. I've called all the
wheel and rim shops locally (Balt. MD.) and nobody wants to mess with it.
Many shops will widen STEEL RIMS but not ALUMINUM RIMS. When I asked why, some said that an Aluminum weld can be porous and slowly
leak air. Where have Members gotten their rims widened and has anyone
had any leaking/vibration problems??

Lidio had mine done (see link above).

Zero problems.

There are ony a few folks in the country that have the expertise to do it. Its not cheap, but its done right.
