My Zonk on this car(Quoting Raiti's rides...) Why wait forever with incredible self control to save a vehicle like this, under factory wraps and such and then go weird and cheap on the engine battery? Napa? Really? On a collector car? Wow.

What's up with the oil and battery gauges? Mine (which I believe are stock) don't have the illustrations that those do.

I noticed a 2003 or 2004 Marauder sold on Barrett-Jackson few years ago but don't know for how much. I wasn't willing to create an account just to find out the final sale price to be honest. I wish it went on Saturday which is prime time, especially in the evening.

:alone: maybe a 300A thing?

It's a Canadian car. The speedo is in Km/h and those are the stock oil/volts gauges. Mine looked like those. Looks like it was originally from Victoria, BC.

:alone: maybe a 300A thing? Mine's a relatively early 300A (#420).

Sweet Marauder.....but the buyer would be a fool to actually drive it.
257 miles on a 20 year old car!
It's now a museum piece.

I want to DRIVE a Marauder.

A majority of these cars have been driven into the ground and are now totally clapped out. Its nice to see one as I remember them being on the dealer lots.

The hammer was $42,000 so I guess the $46,200 is the hammer plus 10% fee?

What was the MSRP when these first came out? 35K?

It was supposed to be $29,000 but some texas dealers convinced the higher ups they could sell it at $35,000. Turns out, no. At that point it was competing with the likes of bmw 3 series and a mercury wasn't going to win that. Mine sat on the lot for 8 months before I snagged it for $27,500, which I always thought was a fair price for it.

Yep, $35,000!
That was pretty salty money for a Mercury 4 door sedan.

The dealer that I bought my Marauder from had SIX black 2003's sitting on the lot (Mid December 2002)
I had the "pick of the litter" to choose from.
My 300A came with the only option; 6 CD changer in the trunk. (I'm not a fan of Sunroofs)
Mercury was already offering a $3,000 Rebate IIRC, to help move the Marauders off the lots.
I got mine 'On the road'/Taxes Tags & Title for $30,600.

Nossir....WAY smaller...one of my key words was COMFORT. At 6'3" that vehicle is not comfortable...but it is pretty dang sweet! (also, I've not seen many selling at sticker)

Mine doesn't either, must be a Canadian car thing...
