That's reputation. When someone likes what you post, you get points. If they don't, you might lose points.

It's a little perk to the board that shows who's popular. Some people care more about this than others. . .. :P

I am getting your signature with no problem including the BUMSBY plate, AC/DC and Iron Maiden posters and the way too cool tach avatar. Also got the thumbnails that you posted. Could be an issue with their browsers or versions. I used to get the dreaded "Red X" alot with the older 4.x version of Netscape.

We do realize that it's the tach from a Honda product? (specifically, Acura, I believe, circa early 90s, as I had a '92 Integra GS for a while and spotting that avatar simply brought back a ton of memories, based on the SRS light and the font on the tach numbers).

DanIt looks like it's either been disabled or is just currently unavailable. In the upper right hand corner of every post, there was a "scale" that you would click on and "agree" or "disagree" with the post/Poster. This "vote" would add or subtract "Reputation points" from the Poster. To see your Points, given by other Members, go to "Preferences." To see your Reputation, hold your mouse over the green dot in the upper left hand of one of your posts or in your Profile.

Gotta be tied to post count...I'm on a distinguished road now too.... :)Our members when they read a post they like, can choose to provide merit points, as they add up you go thru different phases, both positive and negative depending on wether you are judged positively or not.

The system is setup so that one person cannot give points to the same person over and over, so when your points accumulate it is the results of many people that like what you have to offer.

Now my wife and three son's are members and have not given me points.....where ? oh where is the love ?....:lol:

This is getting confussing. I see scales on my reply and I did not start this thread! When I go to the Preferences it says I have 23 points with coments!! I do appreciate the few points I have but how do post remarks to this???
