Marauder Pens - now available

ok - after weeks of designing, I now am the proud owner of a big box of Marauder pens.

I designed these and had them silkscreened in silver ink against a nice black plastic body. The perfect accessory to your car!

Two for $5. This price includes postage and padded envelope so they arrive safely. Additional pens are $1 each.

Also remember that I am selling Scratch pads that fit perfectly in the overhead sunglass compartment. They are two for $5. Additional pads are $1 each.

All slowpoke products are "Logan-Approved" for sale on this board.

On Saturday when I pick up my car (snow, snow go away, come again some other day), I intend to sign the paperwork with one of your pens (then you get to make the payments, right???).

alrighty....I am back in town for two days and at last count I have about 70 pens left. Plent of scratchpads are still available as well.

as of this morning I have 66 pens and 100 pads. Orders received before 4:00 pm today will be shipped today. Orders received after that time will go out on Feb 6th.

Also, post how you use them (e.g. writing down mileage, getting someone's phone number, etc.) I'd like to know how my products are being used.

Being in the oil field business, I'm always on the cel phone while trying to enjoy driving the MM, so whenever I need to jot something down I just reach for my special little pad and take my special pen out of the pocket and act like big S--T looking important with pen and paper in hand....honestly the two make it very convenient for me and intend to use them for a long time to come....Thanks,

'poke: I got my car yesterday (in the words of some "Finally"). Meanwhile, because I had the 'roof installed, the overhead compartments are gone. Didn't stop me from driving around today taking care of business, using your pen and pad set and LML's musical talents (sure wish he sent a play list!!!! -- hint, hint, LML, glad to see that my suggestion (Maybeline made it)).

I ordered 10 of each, and gave away 2 sets to co-workers immediately upon arrival - they admired the car, so they earned a cookie ;)

I put one set in the car.

Since I wear suit jackets (most of the time) at work, I placed a pen and pad set in 7 different jackets. I use 'em for mostly for making notes. I carry a Jornada for my to-do list and such, but sometimes it's faster to jot down a note with pen and paper.

Now, if I were a Mercury salesperson...with a client list...I think I'd be sending something like this out to my current and past customers. Cost is minimal - and if the customer isn't familiar with the Marauder (Hey Mercury - ya'll ever gonna ADVERTISE this car???) that might pique some interest.

Due to a fortuitous cir***stance at work I ran into Steve Babcock, the Marauder program manager the other day. I just happened to have my last couple of pens and pads with me, and quickly wrapped them in an envelope and gave 'em up to the Mercury Main Man. Slowpoke, his grin was as big as ours is every time we saddle up, I kid you not. I passed along the fact that only a great product engenders the type of loyalty and entrepreneurship that creates upgrades like the writing stuff, and that his team would do well to surf this site periodically, to get to know his customers and our needs even better. Time will tell...

PS I think I may need some more mobile office supplies soon!

Just gotta fax the info and wait for shipment, then all pen orders can be sent to my79towncoupe@aol.com or PMed to me. Please include what you want and your shipping address. Business will run the same as it did before, only I'll be selling the pens and pads individually, and not in sets of two. There will be a SMALL price hike for the pens, as the layout is new and there's another little surprise to come.
