Rear roll down window glass. Compatibility.

Long time no talk. Fixing up my marauder and among other things a neighbor knocked in the rear drivers side window glass. (they owned it, apologized, offered to pay.) The folks in the shop say it's really hard to find glass for the Marauder but I would have bet a small body part that window is shared with a bunch of other cars.

Now the shop is claiming it's special to the Marauder, like I'd embued them with some difficult task. I'm like, 'it's a parts car.' So I offer to find it and and in 3 seconds find stuff on ebay with compatibility lists with basically every crown vic and grand marquis.

Are these lists BS? Are the rear roll down Marauder windows special? If so anywhere I can still get them? Are there special clips to mount them? (another complaint)

Sorry if this is dumb, but I want to get this car on the road.

I would call a dealer and ask if its the same a CV/MGM... I would think it is as long as its from a short wheel base car.

Checked my parts catalog and these are not specific to a Marauder. It is the same as cv and gm.

Definitely the same as a Crown Vic/Grand Marquis. The only difference is the trim on the door, all the components including the glass are interchangeable.

Same glass going back past last generation. Junk yard or eBay. Remember there are 6 rivets to the window regulator.
