Yup, just me, a folding chair, a garden hose, a pack of smokes and a cooler of beer outside on the front yard to defend my house yet another year. Life is grand in suburbia.

I fly the flag almost every day not just on holidays. Also have a Blue Star banner in the front window in recognition of my oldest son who is a Captain with the 1st Cavalry Division near Baghdad. Here's hoping for a safe return of all our service men and women.

I live fairly close to Hill AFB and this time of year we get lots of Falcons flying low around these parts. Love it! I'm more of an F-15 guy, personally, but I do love to see the Falcons strutting their stuff.

Can't wait to start seeing F/A-22s at the air shows in a couple of years!

Had to post this...I've been on duty with my Coast Guard reserve unit here in STL the last three days. Logan, Martyo, Mac, take note...that's YOUR fender badges on display... :up:

In the second picture, I'm the one standing behind the console, in the center...yeah, I was driving. :cool: And in my own defense (LOL), the gut in the first picture is not entirely mine; about half of it is from the body armor we have to wear :D
