When I hit the lock button, the passenger side lock doesn't go up or down. There's a nut or some missing from the side of the door. I've tried uploading a pic of the one on the driver side, but it won't upload. Does anyone know the part number for the bolt or rivet that goes there. I'm sure it holds the locking mechanism in place.

I would order a generic actuator to replace yours. Yes, it does need to be riveted in. Same size as window actuator. I purchased a pack of rivets at Harbor Freight.

Do you know what size rivets you used? The rivet they used seems to be way bigger than standard rivets. What brand made the actuator you purchased? I've seen some negative reviews for not being the proper fit and being difficult to install.

The rivet is 1/4".Also I had a Marauder that did the same thing changed the actuator still didn't work changed the lock module problem fixed.

That 1/4" rivet is commonplace among ALL body shops. I'd drop the door panel and have a local place shoot a rivet in there with the proper tool. The riveter can be purchased reasonably almost anywhere but not if you plan to use it only one time.

Much like my Metco pulley installer/remover tool that accomplished neither and was used zero times.

I'd call around and ask a few places and maybe backup your request with a photo of what you need from one of the other doors. This happens for some reason or another. I don't know how much gusto it takes to lock/unlock a door but the driver side rivet on my Town Car broke and I had to do the deed.

The rivet on the passenger side somehow broke. It's the least used door on my car.
