Has anyone bought a service manual? The Helm site is down tonight so I can't even find out if they have one for the Marauder or not. Anyone know what my options are?

Thanks for the response and info. I hope their site is up tomorrow. I've always bought the factory manuals for vehicles I'm planning on keeping for a long time. The MM fits in that catagory!!

Worth -every- penny. Mine is my bible. I use it constantly. I honestly don't know how I've ever survived with previous cars not having the shop manual. If you do any work on your car, or any of your own mods it'll pay for itself the first time you use it.

I look at it this way - the first time I don't have to pay a shop tech 2 hours labor to do something relatively simple with the help of a comprehensive shop manual, it paid for itself.

Check this out for a Shop Manual. I got one last year and it has been great and cheap.

Helms  I think there are two or three complimentary manuals. One is the core shop manual and then there is an electrical book. Finally I think there is a drivetrain/emissions book. I just have the core shop manual.

I see CD-manuals on ebay too, MUCH cheaper than this. Some as low as $9.99. Do a search for these. I don't know if they are the same as the "phone book" version I bought for $50, but if they are that's a heck of a bargain.

I just bid on the DVD auction ending today. Please don't bid on that one. :nono: Working together (i.e, not bidding against each other) we can keep the end cost down for everybody. ;)

updated: paid $15.86 shipped with no other bidders.

Guess I paid too much for mine on ebay. $25 including shipping and handling. Includes the Workshop manuals, PD/ED's and wiring for the Marauder. My only question....is this the real deal, or did I get screwed.

Question?
With a 2003 and 2004 MM, can I get by with ONE set of shop manuals instead of BOTH 2003 and 2004? Which set would you all suggest I buy?
Thanks,
GordonB

Gordon:

I'd suggest the 2003...since that will have any information there is on the de-contented items that would be missing from the 2004 manual...and other than having dual knock sensors, I don't think there is any significant mechanical difference between the two...

*EDIT* Nevermind...I just saw you have a 300B...in that case I don't think it matters which one you get...
