Can anyone tell me the exact model number for the PI Stallion 3000 stall torque converter that many of you have had installed? I don't think I want the triple plate, just the single plate. Thanks!

Precision Industries single plate 3000 stall T/C part number #469016 available from certain sources for as little as $600.

I spoke w/Precision Industries over the phone before ordering mine, and they told me that there's no advantage to getting the triple plate over and above the single plate model unless you're going to take the car to the dragstrip very often and you want to have the converter locked up always at full throttle which would shave about a couple tenths off your ET's but wouldn't be desireable for street driving. The single plate cannot be set to be locked up all the time at full trottle like the triple plate model can be. And the triple plate model is $300 more.
