Factory Window Tinting

I bought my 2003 MM used. There is window tinting on the interior of the windows. The tint ends about 1/8" - 3/16" fron th edge of each glass. Is this factory, or did the previous owner add this. My dealer is unsure. nobody has a new one near by to look at the factory tinting.

Well, now I know. The original owner went darker than stock.

And just FYI.

Most newer Ford cars come with 17% tint already on the windows.

On my SHO I had 50% added and guess what....my tint meter showed exactly 67%.
