Having owned black cars in the past, and hating the swirl marks that seemed impossible to eliminate I opted for a silver MM. If you have the swirls you might want to search out a "cyclo" buffer/polisher. I picked one up used to touch up my airstream, and when in my garage I just for fun put it on the fender of my dark blue 1965 Lincoln. I did a 2 foot area and stopped. Then stepped back said "Holy #$%" and started again and did the whole car. This tool is amazing...it brought back decades old paint to literally like new condition WITH NO SWIRLS..no paint burning, no harsh wheeling. Very easy on the paint and results like I have rarely seen. They still sell them new, but they are a couple hundred bucks so watch for used ones. It is money well spent.
