The Southern Super Heavy Shootout 4 will be held Saturday, November 6, 2004 at Atlanta Dragway, Commerce Ga.

It's mostly Impalas, so it would be nice for a MM to take a win. Plenty of time to prepare, it's 3 months away!

I will definitely be there. I have been working on the MM all year to get ready for the SSHS. I just need another dyno tune. I have the gears, girdle, Cobra E/S, PI TC, UDPs, Metco C/As, etc. (The control arms really plant the rear and provide a solid launch and look great. Still didn't expect the "increased controlled ride" i.e. road feel. Anyone else experience this increased road feel or is it just I have grown soft.) I hope we have a number of MMs at the event and have a good showing.

If it wasn't the SAME day as a friends wedding, we would so be there. I had fun last year, and was a great time.

Maybe they will move the wedding (unlikly) or they will have to move the drag day due to weather.

I was there last year with my 96 Impala SS and came home with the third place and the long distance award. I hope the new 03MM does as well this year. I hope to see more MM this year if it was not for riding in Bob Maths surpercharged MM I would have not started looking for one my self. I now have the 96 SS up for sale to get the supercharge for the MM. Hope to see as many MM this year as SS last year. See you there. Russ

I count 3 for sure, Me (Brian Sipe), MartyO (Martin Ochs), and BCKNBLK (David Wysock).

I guess it would have been nice to have our screen names on the participant list.

Hey guys, I wanted to do a lot of video work so I could make a compilation video for those not attending. The camera I had lined up is unfortunately not going to be available for me to use this weekend, so I'm gonna need some help.

What I'm looking for is a lotta video! Caravans, dyno session, drag races, staging lanes, host hotel burnouts ;) I'll be taking a LOT of pictures, and if I can find something to borrow I can get some video too, but will definately need some help.
