Got Marauder Fever

After attending the show in Indy, and being responsible for the IMOA portion, I caught the FEVER ! I'm an old car guy looking to buy a 04 Black at the best price possible. Checking this forum I'm hearing $24000. to $27000. If someone knows a dealer that has a great price please let me know. After driving the Trilogy car, I'm hooked. I also would like to thank all of you for your joint participation with us at Indy! It was a great time.

Just be aware that there is no known cure for Marauder Fever. It leaves a permanent grin line. :D

Go to Delray Lincoln Mercury at Delray beach. Ask for a salesman named DeBlasio (sorry, I can't remember his first name). I came all the way from Tennessee to get mine there and he gave me the best deal going at the time. Right in your back yard.

If you're interested, there's a black 04 with a moonroof at Ken Smith L&M in Ridgewood, NJ.

My wife and I went tire kicking yesterday for a possible Towncar replacemet.

While she did give the Marauder the once over, she leaned more towards the Lincoln LS cars on the lot. $6,000 back from Ford plus the A-Z plan takes a $40,950 LS MSRP down to $30,700 bottom line.

I have to admit, I agree with her, but I'm still hoping to change her mind and go with a Jag S. (Jag dealers will now honor the A-Z plan. A few short years ago, they were not interested in selling a car under the discount plan.)

I figure the LS will run a tick slower than my TBird because it weighs a tick more.

Anyway, no decision yet, and the TCar's in the mechanic's hands to diagnose a "stumble" when lugging in 4th gear.
