I see the pics in the gallery but I have not seen the times or how the MM and SS paired!

The only time that counts is the Bunny Lady's 13.30 @ 106 mph...

I've got everyone's times on paper, but I'll be darned if I'm typing in the 7 bagillion runs that everyone did... :)

Lots of quick cars! :D

Maybe the bracket winners can be posted. I really can't start bragging until someone else starts the post. It wouldn't be right. :shot:

um - OK - losers first, then:

I "won" 3 races during open track. Then got eliminated in the first round of bracket racing. :( Let the bragging begin! :)

I'll start first,
I was second round runner up in the 14sec class.14.23 on a 14.25 dial.
First round was 14.25 on a 14.25!

I did have my best run to date,14.12@98.28.
On the timeslip page I am#7 of the N/A Marauders, note I said marauder.

I only made 6 pass's total but it wasn't because I couldn't run more.
Somebody here made something like 15 passes I think.

I lost in the first round of the 12 sec bracket by breaking out from my 12.9 dial in time. It was my best run of the day with a 12.78 @108.8.

Although I lost the bracket, I am hoping that run put me in the top 5 MMs on the track that day:)

Anyone know who the top 10 were as far as ET?

I made it to the final round in the 13 second class consistantly running 13.4's.

I red lighted in the last race and lost to an SS. Honestly, he would have beat me any way with his consistant 13.1's while not spraying. However, his dial in was much higher than his average. Perhaps due to inexperience, he may have blown his dial in trying to catch me had I not red lighted.

I have all the time slips to post, but my company immediately sent me to Columbus upon my return from Indy. This is where I am....for the next month.

Worse part, my wife and son weren't home when I returned, and I still haven't seen them since the wednesday before last.:(

I will post stuff when I finally find my way home.

The times are great, Barry and I think we're all pretty proud of you:up:
I hope you make it home to the family soon!

When it comes to times, my personal opinion is that most people did not come close to their personal best, my car did not like the Indy air and I was off my best time by about .4 seconds. I ran a 14.89 at about 95.1 mph and a couple of 14.9's. Most of my runs were about 15 flat, emphasis on flat.

I managed to get into the second round of the brackets where my dial in of 14.81 had proven very accurate on the previous run. I went against FordNut who beat me by a lot and that was with his lovely bride in the car. I ran 15.04 @ 95.41 to his 14.13 @ 97.20.

I don't really know why my car was so sluggish that day, but I wish to salute Fordnut for running strong and especially Barry for upholding Marauder honor to the end. Barry my friend, you made me proud and you have an awsome car:bows: the fact is your N/A car is faster than more than just one S/C car and in my eyes you were the only to really challenge the SS torque monster.

DANG BARRY, This entire time I thought you had a S/C car. That amazes me that you are a a non S/C and was putting the smack down like that!

If I may ask those that posted their Best Indy time here to repost here:BEST (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=11880) No disrespect intended to this thread where I posted already. I am trying to put together a Best Indy results only with just best run and mods for that event. Just numbers and a few words on Mods, so we can have at a glance a snapshot of numbers produced at Indy.

Mysta Kang if you disapprove let me know and I will delete the thread I started after yours, my only interest is to have a thread with only numbers to glance at and see results. Javier.

14 second bracket - dial in = 15.30

first race win against 1594 14.786@93.69 - I ran 15.431 @88.66
he had 14.70 dial .496 r/t
I had 15.30 dial .258 r/t
why didn't he win with .086 difference to my .131?

2nd race win against 007 (red lt) - I ran 15.702 @88.80
1/4 finals lost against 1825 15.093@92.20 - I ran 15.646 @91.43

These were my second, third and fourth bracket races, I lost my first one at sshs3 last year, so I'm now 2-2. Looking forward to sshs4 in November.

Came down to reaction time in the first race.

Its all in the addition... .496 - .258 = .238 headstart for you.

He had a .086 difference to your .131...difference = .045 better for him

.238 - .045 = .193 You win by this much....

At least thats my guess. Anyone else?

I won the 14.00 and over with a horrible time. But I was running so consistent all day my dial in was on the money.

I dialed in at 15.00 and believe I ran at 15.04. I have since spoken to Dennis and reflashed my tuner as everyone was gaining on me in the stretch and I had nothing left. Looking forward to get back on the track and hopefully see a difference.

I do want to say thanks to all for the experience. It was the first time on the track. I am still trying to get rid of the woodie.

My first time on a track in a stock Marauder with loads of stuff in the trunk I ran:

16.003@ 91mph
.505 r/t
2.3 something 60 foot.

IT WAS GREAT FUN!
