I'm still trying to decide if I could honestly get all excited about a Montego. I don't think I can. That and just this site alone is damn near a full time job. Don't know that I can do another one.

Besides, mercurymontego.net is owned by some dude in chile.

Some one created a RWD, V8 powered Focus. Maybe there's an aftermarket V8-RWD kit in the works for the Montego.... :up:

still wouldn't be a Marauder though :D

I think that's the Rally version of the Focus. Something like Cogsworth RS with the V8. I think they have it in Europe. I've heard about it on Top Gear.

The RWD v8 kit for the Focus is made by Ford Racing. About $5k, w/out the engine. There are 1 or 2 guys on focaljet that have done this. it:rock:

I'm sure they will sell. they'll pick up the Taurus/Sable buyers, and maybe some of the Impala buyers.

Ford just needs to get it's head out of the sand and pay attention to it's Body-on-frame RWD sedan niche!
