Veteran's Licensce PLates

We just got these in our province to honor those who defend democracy.

I 've already seen a few people driving with them and I've given them the thumbs up .

From me and my family, thank you to all the veterans that have allowed us to live in freedom. And a special acknowledgement to our forces still involved in the Middle East conflicts . Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your families .

..........WOW!!!..Those are some terrific choices for plates in Va.......wish NC would provide that many .....VA didn't have those when I lived there up until '79 that I remember.....nice...very nice.........Tom

Heck, I live in Virginia .... and I didn't know they had so many choices. Looks like they have one for just about any college in VA and half the big name schools all over. Some of the other plates, I have never seen on the road.

Every license plate design in Virginia has to be approved by the General Assembly. And then they have to have 350 applicants before each one can be manufactured or distributed. At last count, counting this year's approvals, I think we're over 200 to choose from now. Virginia makes a killing just off the "personalized" fees each year.

I never did get why VA has plates for other state schools. Anything for more money i guess.
