Anyone here using Bosch plugs? I prefer to use double platinum plugs and Bosch makes them that cross ref to the MotorCrafts in the Marauder.

I've used Bosch plugs in all my Fords except my ZX3, none were made for it (?). So after doing some research on the net I found the proper numbers and have a set on order from my local NAPA store. Bosch +2 plats. I guess we'll see what the butt dyno says. I'm interested in the mpg difference. I always did better with the Bosch, sometimes significantly better. After a few tankfuls I'll post on them.

Personally, they'll never sucker me out of my money again. They always seem to foul very quickly, and in many cars have caused an intermitten misfire. And regardless if you have 1, 2, or 4 ground electrodes, electricity will always take the shortest route. Meaning that whichever electrode is closer (even microscopically), it will fire to that one only. Another disadvantage is you simply can't gap them to the specs of the car they're being installed in.

Trust me when I say there is no miracle spark plug out there. It's 50% hype, and 50% :bs:

Stick with the stock plugs, or another quality plug (Autolite, AC-Delco, or even NGK sometimes).

Interesting, I've never had any problems with Bosch plugs before. If I do I'll take them up on their refund offer. I've only put 75 miles on the MM with them in. No difference in power, although the rough idle is gone.

I have used the single electrode Bosch Platinums in all my vehicles since Bosch put them out ( or since '90 ? ). These have been Ford Tempo GLs, Ford F150, Pontiac Bonny SSEI, Lancia Zagato...a wide selection. I have not had any problems with them that I DIDNT CAUSE MYSELF. As a matter of fact, the Tempo GLS still has the set I put in in '99. Still looking good with good gap and performance....
