Met Someone New...Has Awesome Mustang

Well the girl that baby-sits my little sister met a new guy. She said I could hang with them today and told me he has a Mustang GT, it's a late 80's early 90's model. I said "I like him already" It's two tone, red and grey with a red interior. It's a 5-speed on a 302...125 shot of NOS and a host of engine upgrades. It's FAST and it's LOUD! I'll post pictures later.

A little off-topic, but red has to be the UGLIEST interior color on the fox cars. I've been shopping for a 89-93 notchback for the past month. The cars with all red interior are selling for about $1500 to $2000 less than the grey/black/tan interior cars. The stangs with two tone red & black interiro sell for slightly more. Truly an ugly interior.

Yeha, it wasn't the nicest interior...but the kid has done well for himself, he said he's about to break 7.5 on the 1/8. (We don't have a 1/4 close by)

I hate to say it but the only car I've seen with a red interior I've liked are the 3 series and M3 BMW's...that includes Ferrari's too.

Steve - I can deal with a '78 TA... classic cars are exempt from my red interior hatred.

James - You forgot to mention the Vette ZO6 red/black two tone interiors... real nice!!

It's nice...but I like the 2005 better...the 2004back looks like the inside of every other GM car...but the 2005's are hot! Yes, I should have given it mention:)

I had a red 5.0 with white leather ..convertable[white top]....the car got vandalzed,top slashed. replaced the top with a blue top but kept the white under the glass rear window... this was right after desert storm.. the GT in red white & blue looked sweet.... When I sold it I put it out side my shop & it sold in ...I'm NOT kiding less than 20 minutes...........The interior was red[the dash ,etc.] But the seats were those somewhat articulating [of the day] white leather seats......... Whish you were ther...... :fishing: :burnout:
