I do believe a nice addition to the aftermarket items should be clear tail lights for the Marauder; perhaps semi-smoked to match the reverse lights.

Geo, are you talking about clear taillight lenses with red bulbs?

I think you posted that in the wrong forum...the one you want is called www.RICER-DRIVER.net...

To each his own.

Not everyone has to agree on the other's taste.

Jeff:

You're right, man; if Geo wants clear lenses on his car, then he should have them. I just thought he posted his idea on the board for feedback...

No offence, Geo...sometimes I end up on the wrong side of the fine line between witty and sarcastic...

What I think would work nicely is taking a coat or two of VHT Nite Shades to the tails... Just to darken them up a shade or two. Not so much to get in trouble, just enough to tint em.

The Impala SS has had clear taillights in the aftermarket since 1999. Mind you clear taillights weren't very popular yet as an aftermarket mod in 1999. I recall that in Los Angeles many cars had them but hadn't caught on in other areas as of that time. I know alot of ricers have them and I have a buddy with a Mustang GT that refuses to get them just to avoid the ricer look. However clear lenses are offered for Chevy Suburbans, Tahoes and other non-ricer applications. Car manufacturers have also responded in such cases as the Nissan Maxima 4dr and the Ford-SVT F150 Lightning muscle truck.

On a black Marauder, with white lenses all around, it could look very authoritive or perhaps like a pace car ready to flash strobes.

If you go with clear tail lights, can I have your red ones? ;) :D
