A Special Thank You

I would like to take a moment and post a sincere heartfelt THANK YOU to all the members that assisted my wife and I with the recent Hurricane that devastated our area of Florida. The response was beyond belief and completely overwelming to both of us..We lost part of our roof, serious water leaks in the house, carpet, soffics, electric problems, fixtures, and so on, but all these things can be repaired,and replaced, my point being, the friendship and the brotherhood from the Mercury Marauder site can never be replaced..I would like to thank two very close friends Claude (Carfixer), and Javier (Smokie), and their families for their very important involvement. We are getting things back to normal, dealing with Insurance companies, contractors, and all that goes with that.. Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH, AND GOD BLESS..

Glad to hear you are fine and things are getting somewhat back to normal. As mentioned those things can be fixed or replaced. I love Florida, was recently in Captiva, but I'll stick to needing traction control up here for quite some time! How did all the wildlife do? Hope all the sanctuaries didn't get destroyed.

Stevengerard, Thanks for the reply, The eye of the Hurricane came onshore at Captiva, and continued north to Pine Island, Cape Coral, and then almost completely leveled Punta Gorda, and Port Charlotte...From the info I have received it took out all the trees, 131 homes, and cut the island in half. Island resdents were just allowed onto the island but can't stay, just to view their damage, and contact contractors, they still have no power, along with Punta gorda, and parts of Port Charlotte. The local LEO have made numerous arrests for looters, gong by boat to the island...Then we had all the other money grabbers trying to sell ice, and water for 10 to 15.00 dollars per item... They were dealt with though.........
