Is this a real concept car (obviously dated), or some photochopping?

Looks like a concept GT40. I like the "Eliminator"...my dog did a little of that this morning.

Looks to be based on PANTERA/GT-40 hybrid.

but IMO, not a goody.

It was a concept from some years ago called the "Indigo".
I think they were thinking "Indy-Go" 'cause maybe it looks like an indy car?
I don't have an interior shot, but belive it or not, here is the front..

Haven't been able to ID the COugar, tho'..

Wasn't the "Eliminator" an option package for the Cougar in '69?

Ford dreamed it up, and Plymouth built and sold it.
If it were not for the blue oval it could easily be mistaken for a concept photo of that neat Plymouth Street Rod thing.

Prowler...YEH! What he said. Prowler... So, what do you think? Could that be where the Prowler came from?

Thanks spub! I thought so - the original had a nice spoiler too. My first car was a '68 Cougar XR 7 & I wish I had kept that one! For some reason I can't quite remember, I did keep the motor out of it - still in my garage for the last 20+ years!
