I think most of you missed the point. Fuzzy dice are appropriate, crowns and dingleballs are not, at least not until chrome yellow and wiring for a taxi light is an option.

I think RED will be my choice.

Ricers won't use them... no room for guages.

i got a bunch of junk for my 83 honda because i was a teenager and my car wasnt exatcly classy to begin with...here are the 'mods'

big foot gas pedal.
black dice.
faux snake skin steering wheel cover.
skull chrome liscence plate holders
skull valve stem caps.
purple roof light.

some notes:
the guys at the car wash laughed at my pedal.
the dice deform over time and the dots fall off. i also got a front view obstruction ticket for them.
the steering wheel cover is still going strong!
the gems fell out of the eyes of the skull and my friend broke the front one but it still good.
someone stole my caps...two whole sets lost...they aint cheap and where really nice, heavy and shiny..
get a black light instead. ;)

all this crap was from strauss/ pep boys..

edit: dont worry, i would not do anything like that to my future marauder. i'm older and wiser and relize all ya need is a big black paintjob to look cool :coolman:

I think being the youngest member on the board, my OPINION is valid here, since I live the life among the rice-a-roni's. Here goes:

Fuzzy dice: Yah, as long as it doesn't glow in the dark or have neon crap in it.

Neon Ground effects: This can be cool, when done properly.

Liscense plate frames: ANYTHING outside the plain chrome or black is either gehtto or ricer.

Dingle Balls: They still sell this?

Other suggestions... leave your door lock buttons be and unless you can find the ORIGANAL Gods Head vavle stem caps, just leave those be as well...

Again, this is my OPINION, but like I said, I live the life, or well... too close to it for my comfort. This car is no where near an understatement as is. Something with more taste like hot white head lamps, reflective letters, or custom vinal badging would be more appropriate to make your 'rauder your own.

Just to make sure, this is ALL OPINION... :D

If you look in the 63 photo album mine wear flamed and dotted vinyl dice that look like leather that I got direct from the Revin with Ford people at the Woodward cruise in Birmingham. With the hood open and looking straight on through, the hole in the hood makes a frame for them.

I got a nice beviled Chrome Bracket for the back. I think Dice would be good, Black with red comes to mind. Lighting... as a show car, yes, as a Phat Ride, no.

You mean the ZZ572? That is one bad mama. The base one is 620hp @ 5500, and 650ft @ 4500. The other one you can get is 720hp @ 6250 and 685ft @ 4500, with 12:1 comp. I've only seen pics of it so far. They are not really out yet. The base version will run on 92 pump gas. The other requires racing fuel. And you will be able to order this bad boy from any Chevy dealer.
