But it was quite sweet. She had to study and memorize Shakespear's 29th Sonnet. Together we practiced it for almost an hour...memorizing it without reading and with emotion and original intent of the author. She'd read a line and I'd read a line and together we'd read it and so on. She's got it down last I checked and I can't wait to see how well she does tomorrow.

When in disgrace with fortune and men's eyes,
I alone beweep my outcast state,
And trouble deaf Heaven with my bootless cries,
And look upon myself, and curse my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featur'd like him, like him with friends possess'd,
Desiring this man's art, and that man's scope,
With what I most enjoy contented least:
Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee,--and then my state
(Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth) sings hymns at heaven's gate;
For thy sweet love remember'd such wealth brings
That then I scorn to change my state with kings'.

Ummmm...thanks for sharing?

By the way, Todd was going to make a similar confession about Elaine, but I will start a separate thread for that.

James: I think you should speak to Todd. He can give you some pointers on how to handle a situation like this.
