I have started the prosses of aquiring my wife her 04 F-150. E-mails are flying as we speak.

I hope to get as good a deal on it as I DIDN'T get on my Marauder.

Well, it's done.

We signed the papers last night on a beutiful 04 F-150 SuperCrew with 5.4L and Tow package.

MSRP on it was $32,495. We put $200 of our own money down on it, and financed $26,188. Got it at 6.99 for 60 months.

She loves it, and I'll let her post about it.

Congratulations, what is the color of the truck? And are you going to bring it to Chic-fil-a next week? I see you are already looking for mods from the Dealer. :fishing:

He's debating between the optional gun rack, beer cooler access window, or extra large Craftsman tool box. :D

Nice choice, Phil and Natasha !! :2thumbs: :cheer:

Today while we were having our oil changed in the Black Bomber & Spector, Chris and I took a F-250 6.0 Powerstroke Turbo Diesel for a test drive. Talk about a truck it felt good looking down at people as we drove past them and power :woohoo: it gets up and moves out of its own way and so does everyone else, 350hp and over 500tq. I have been looking at these since the Baltimore Car Show last January. I would be able to put my bike in the bed while towing one of the cars in a trailer. Add on the Banks 6 pack, a 4" exhaust and you could smoke the tires off it. :burn: If we were to get one it would probably be the Harley Edition.

The truck is dark shadow grey and Yes I will be bringing it to Chick-Fil-A on Friday. I am SO excited about my new truck. :woohoo: :banana2:

It was kinda fun driving it home on Friday. Somehow I squealed tires pulling out of the dealership. :burn:

This will be a VERY fun vehicle to drive. I just need running boards to be able to get in and out easier. The only other thing I am looking for is an additional storage bin that would hold my cd's.

Anyone who shows at the Chick-fil-a on Friday, will happily show you all the neat things in the truck. :woohoo: :banana2:

Sarah also purchased a truck Friday. She got a White Dodge Ram 4x4 with all the goodies. It must have been a full moon with rebates that night.

So Tasha did you trade in your PT Cruiser or are you going to store it in the bed of the pick-up. The extra weight ought to come in hand for the winter.

We will be selling it out-right and using the money to live on in Texas.

First it was the trip to Bookbinder's in Richmond, now the truck! What on earth did you do that requires paybacks of this magnitude. You must have been a very bad boy, indeed.

Actually, the trip to Bookbinder's was my anniversary dinner (he always takes me someplace that we would never go on a regular night). The truck is preparation for the move to Texas, plus I have been wanting a truck for a year now. With the truck we can get the largest trailer that U-Haul offers and get all our stuff down to Texas. Otherwise, we would have had to get two hitches and two smaller trailers and hope we didn't have to lose most of our furniture.
