Dan that's a hell of an idea, but this guy's gonna need a w/c for real without a roll cage or seat belt!!
Now where did he get that engine?!

Wasn't there a story circulating a while ago (<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comDarwin awards?) about a couple of mental giants who stuffed a JATO bottle, or two in the trunk of a Chevy? I recall the story goes, they were found imbedded in the side of a nearby mountain.

How about some brakes.

How about some brakes.

As short as that wheelbase is I'd be more concerned about the steering. I bet that it would swap ends at the slightest provocation.

Did it occur to the guy that, just perhaps, driving a jet powered wheel chair could wind up with him needing a wheel chair... for real?

I saw a jet powered outhouse at an airplane show this summer! Wouldn't want to be in it if it overturned ! :puke:

Blue Cross/Blue Shield surely didn't cover that mod :) Now if he was using an ignited oxygen bottle for thrust, he could have done the whole kit for free probably.

In addition to real quick steering......I wonder how he stops the thing??? :dunno:

Sounds like he is trying to kill his mother-in-law and collect some type of inheritance sooner. :)

I'm glad to see him wearing a HELMET!!!
Giuseppe is going to be a quadraplegic, or worse... DEAD very soon.

Maybe he should eat a huge meal of sausage, beans, and beer...and then he could delete the jet engine option and run on methane power!!!
