Well how many of us has tried to change the spark plugs in our cars and find you cannot get a spark plug socket down in the valve cover, of if you do with a extention the socket falls off when you pull the plug out well here is a new neat tool Huricane... :party:

That's a cool tool Dennis! But I've found that Duct Tape to tape the socket to the extension is a cheap alternative. ;)

I've been using a set of locking extensions from Craftsman. About $19.99 for a set of 3 3/8 drive extensions that lock the socket on. Those work pretty well.

So I only changed them once - but had no problems w/SK sockets & extensions.
It does look like a nice tool though - would be interested in the price.

I use a fuel hose the insert the spark plugs. Works very well.Yeah, I've had that same piece of hose in my tool box for ten years. Cost me less than 2c.

Try using an old straight spark plug boot (trim boot) and a piece of steel tubing. Been using one at work since plugs were all on the side of the head. Works just as well on the two valve versions. Just about all of the technicians here use this way (Dynamometer Laboratory, Ford Motor Company).

Works good on boats too, where there is limited access, especially for us larger framed individuals.

I solved my problems by tack welding the spark plug socket to the extension, but I like having a special tool just for my Marauder in my tool box.
