Most seem to be going for about $400 with a few companies offering free shipping as an incentive.Check out some of the MM.net vendors for pricing.

I think both Lidio with Alternative Auto and Dennis Reinhart are SCT distributors. These guys know Marauders. See the Supporting Vendors forum. Dennis has an "End of summer special" thread that includes the tuner.
You'll probably be talked out of the 1724 to go with the Superchips 9100 custom tuner to get their own tunes. That way your tune can also be optimized for any future mods. Get the PC download cable so you don't have to UPS the tuner back and forth in the future.

 Definitely go with the SCT 9100 and the cable. I bought the 9100 after owing the non-reprogrammable variety (1700 series) and would you would not believe the difference in the programs available for the 9100 vs a 1700 series tuner.
Do a search in our forums for SCT and you will find a wealth of information on the advantages. :cool4:

Thanks

It's a 1725 Max Micro Tuner from Superchips, and they only made them for 96-03 model year.
I'm not sure you can access the service port on the 04's, thought it could only be chipped.
Wes Chain of Innovative Interceptors here also has the SCMT
That's correct, Wes has them, but they're only for 03's Marauder.

The SCMT-1725 does have calibration for changes in tire size and gear ratio, adjust trans shift points, raise top speed limiter, and increase rev limiter.
You cannot have a custom tune with this model, (1725). Thanks

The 1724 is available for the 04. Go to Superchips site or call them, they will give you the name of a dealer in your area. I've installed it on my 04. It cleans up the tranny a good bit. Improved my gas mileage, as well.

Mike:party: Thanks, Thats what I am after. The shifts seem to be a little soft, especially under light throttle.

I have an 04 and an SCT 9100 Super Chips Tuner from Dennis Reinhart. I have three programs, including the OEM program for when I have to take it into the dealer for service. It is so easy to use. I plug it in under the dash (plug is there already) and follow the easy instructions. Takes maybe 10 minutes. The other two programs are premium fuel w/4.10s and regular fuel w/4.10s.Check with Dennis (he's a vendor here) for pricing. b  :cuke:

Boss has told you most of the information as for price, I got mine for approximately $400 but Dennis will have the latest pricing. The best feature, in my opinion, is the ability to have the stock program plus three more custom programs. There is a separate cable available, you can buy it for about $75 (that is what I paid, I think). This cable plugs into your PC and you can download new programs to the tuner for your MM as you make additional mods or need adjustments.
My most recent problem was low voltage at idle, because of my UDP's. Dennis emailed me a new program, I downloaded it into the SCT 9100, then transferred the program to my MM and problem solved. Just my opinion, but for the extra money, you get a lot of continued use out of the tuner. BTW, the difference in my 1725 tuner and the first program I got from Dennis with the 9100 was like night and day. Thought I had bought a new car because of the performance gains in all rpm and speed ranges.
